City of Gulf Breeze Reminds Public of Mariners Landing Rental & Charter Rules
 GULF BREEZE, FL – The City of Gulf Breeze reminds residents and visitors that new Mariners Landing is a cherished community asset, and maintaining its peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere requires cooperation and adherence to park regulations, especially regarding rentals and fishing charters.
To preserve the park’s natural beauty and ensure a safe, enjoyable environment for all, the following rules apply:
🚫 Prohibited Activities
- No watercraft rentals (pontoons, jet skis, paddle boards, kayaks, etc.) are allowed unless approved by a Special Event Permit or official City contract.
- No vendors (including food trucks or mobile sales) are permitted without prior City authorization.
- Large fishing and boating charters are not allowed.
- Small fishing charters are permitted only if the operator:

- Holds a valid USCG OUPV (6-pack) license, and
- Is properly registered with a Business Tax Receipt (BTR) through the Community Services Department.

🎣 Permitted Fishing Activities
- Fishing is welcome from the fishing pier only.
- Fishing from the boat launch docks is not allowed.
- Please do not discard bait or fish waste anywhere in the park.
The City encourages all charter and recreational users to respect these rules to prevent disruptions, overcrowding, and damage to our natural shoreline areas. Park users are also reminded that violations may result in citations or impoundment.
