Gulf Breeze Residents Praise The City As A Place To Live
GULF BREEZE RESIDENTS PRAISE THE CITY AS A PLACE TO LIVE AS WELL AS ITS NATURAL ENVIRONMENT AND OUTDOOR AMENITIES
The City of Gulf Breeze recently completed its first National Citizen Survey™ soon after the impacts of Hurricane Sally and the closure of the Pensacola Bay Bridge. Despite these challenges, Gulf Breeze residents continue to praise the City as a place to live, raise children and retire.
Gulf Breeze ranked higher than the national average in five areas: safety; natural environment; parks and recreation; inclusivity and engagement; and health and wellness opportunities. The City ranked similarly to the national average in the remaining five areas: economy; utility infrastructure; education, arts and culture; mobility; and community design.
"These survey results are a great tool as we develop plans and initiatives that are reflective of our resident’s values and priorities,” said Mayor Cherry Fitch. “Your Mayor and City Council are committed to maintaining an excellent quality of life in Gulf Breeze and becoming more resilient as we make investments in infrastructure and strategically leverage local and state resources.”
