
1.5 MGD Expansion for Tiger Point Waste Water Treatment Facility

The Project Area is in Tiger Point. The work includes the construction of infrastructure to expand the treatment capacity of the existing wastewater treatment plant from 2.0 million gallons per day to 3.5 million gallons per day. The infrastructure includes constructing new oxidation ditches, water clarifiers, filters, and all other components necessary for a complete and operational wastewater treatment facility. It also includes the rehab and refurbishing of existing Bardenpho reactors to additional water reject storage tanks.
Bids were opened early 2024, and the bid was awarded April 2024. Construction began August 2024, and the estimated completion date for the project is January 2027. Construction is currently at 25% complete.
