The City of Gulf Breeze has undertaken several studies of a large scale stormwater improvement project to alleviate flooding for McClure Drive, Shirley Drive, and the Plantation Hill Subdivision. The studies included a general options overview, the feasibility of a gravity connection and the analysis of a special assessment to fund some or all of the costs associated with the project.
The next step is to solicit citizen input on the project and the potential for special assessment funding. A PUBLIC MEETING will be held APRIL 18TH, 2017 AT 6:00 PM, at the Gulf Breeze Community Center,, 800 Shoreline Drive, to discuss the project and funding options.
At the meeting, City staff and consulting engineering firms will present the project costs and funding alternatives to the public. Questions will be accepted at the meeting, or may be submitted in advance.
